Frame by Frame animation



why i chose these animations
The animation on the left is a pile of rocks being exploded to clear a path, the animation in the middle is a wooden plank being pulled out of a pile of rocks, and the animation on the right is a cloud of smog filling the area. i chose the animations because the pile of rocks needed to be removed from the players path so they can move around the level more. the smog cloud is just to make the setting look more realistic as the fire rages on the smog raises into a giant cloud in the sky.
Challenges
the main challenge i had was making the animations in the same piskel file. this was my challenge because when i copied a frame it would copy for all the layers and then i had to change the other frames for new animations without onion skin working well for the frame I'm changing. another challenge was how i was going to show motion in the smog cloud and i decided on the curves moving to showcase the upward motion of the smog itself.
